Saved By Science Appears At The Canadian Science Policy Conference
Dr. Poznansky presented at a session entitled: Policy Lessons in the Age of Technological Disruption. Arguments were made that if Canada is to be competitive in the development and utilization of new technologies, Canadian Science Policy has to change. Dr. Poznansky pointed out the need to recognize the speed at which new developments are occurring and the fact that many of these developments are being driven by the private sector not only in the area of Applied Research and Commercialization, but in Basic Research as well.
