Dr. Mark J. Poznansky is the person behind Saved By Science

Dr. Poznansky has served as President and CEO of Ontario Genomics, Chair of the Province of Ontario’s Genetic Testing Advisory Committee, Chief Science Advisor for Thunder Bay Regional Research Institute, Chairman of the Board of Let’s Talk Science and President, CEO and Scientific Director of the Robarts Research Institute.
He has impressive credentials.
Dr. Poznansky received both a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physiology from McGill University and did a Post Doctorate in Biophysics at Harvard Medical School. He also completed Programs on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and previously served as charge de recherche at the Collège de France in Paris.
Dr. Poznansky has been recognized for his contributions to science.
Dr. Mark has been awarded the Order of Canada, the Order of Ontario and is the proud recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Ontario Life Sciences.

Dr. Poznansky is an in-demand speaker on topics such as personalized medicine, climate change, the future of agriculture and synthetic biology. And somehow, he has found time to produce over 100 published articles, reviews and editorials; hold numerous scientific patents; and pen the book, Saved by Science launched by ECW Press in Fall 2020.
